James (Jim) Tompkins, President
Before joining TriScript, Jim was national director of pharmacy for SunScript Pharmacy. In this position, his responsibilities included contracting, therapeutic inter-changes, contract compliance and budgetary analysis for 29 long-term care pharmacies throughout the U.S. His previous experience also included ownership and management of RX Shop Lab, a highly successful long-term care pharmacy, which was later purchased by SunScript.
Jim worked for 13 years as a retail pharmacist. He earned a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin .
Catherine (Cathi) W. Coney, Vice President of Operations
Cathi Coney has extensive experience with both commercial and retail pharmaceutical businesses. Before joining TriScript, she was director of pharmacy at SunScript Pharmacy, supervising nine pharmacists, 15 technicians and the transportation staff. While at SunScript, the business grew from 500 to 1,800 beds by providing excellent customer service and high standards of patient care.
Prior to SunScript, Cathi was a district manager for Eckerd Drug, with responsibility for oversight of 29 stores, with 61 direct employees. She was selected National District Manager of the Year and Regional District Manager of the Year.
Cathi earned a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin .
Ed Gruber, Vice President, Clinical Services
Ed comes to TriScript with 27 years of experience as a pharmacist, pharmacy manager and business owner. Immediately prior to joining TriScript, he was a consultant pharmacist and regional consultant manager for SunScript Pharmacy. In this position, he managed and coordinated consulting services for Texas , New Mexico and southern Missouri . He is a member and director of the Academy of Consultant Pharmacists of the Texas Pharmacy Association and recently served on the Texas Department of Human Services panel to develop medication assessment tools for the Quality Monitoring system.
Ed earned a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Houston .
